We instil confidence and self-belief to help our Super Starlings soar.

Hello. We are Orla and Jade, qualified and experienced primary school teachers in Stockport, Cheshire with a passion for helping children to believe in themselves and achieve their full potential.

We both have vast experience of teaching in UK schools, especially working with children who just need that extra push, nurturing them to believe that “Yes! I can do this!”.

School and mainstream education settings are great (we know, we have many years’ experience of them), but the crowded classroom environment can overwhelm some children, and that’s what drove us to establish Super Starlings – offering 121 or small group support.

Working together with our Super Starlings and their parents we develop bespoke education and tutoring programmes, ensuring that our collective efforts have a positive impact on a child’s learning and their self-esteem.

Jade and Orla are both fully qualified primary school teachers who collectively have over 25 years of classroom teaching experience across both Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 curriculum levels. Here’s more about them.

I am a fully qualified primary school teacher with almost two decades experience teaching children from ages 4 to 11 years old in schools across Stockport.

I feel well-placed to teach on a range of primary subjects, with a passion and specialism in supporting children with special educational needs (SEND).

I am also mum to three children of my own, and apply all of my own learning principles to our family life.

I am a class teacher at a two-form entry, mainstream primary school in Tameside. I have been working as a teacher at the school for the past 10 years and.am experienced across both KS1 and KS2. I am a mum to four children, who attend our local schools and groups, and we live in Marple.

I am confident and passionate about teaching all areas of the curriculum and truly believe that everyone deserves the opportunity to achieve their potential. I have had lots of experience of working with children with a variety of needs, including ASD, ADHD and dyslexia and am motivated to help all children reach their potential through individualised learning styles. In addition to classroom teaching, I have tutored a number of children in Maths, Writing and phonics over the years, as well as having experience running intervention groups.

Building relationships and creating a fun and nurturing learning environment is essential to success.
